Terms & conditions of sale

These terms apply to every order placed through the Heating Trade Supplies trade portal. Please read them before ordering. By placing an order you agree to them. Last updated: 22 October 2026.

1. About these terms

These terms set out how we sell parts and services (“products”) to trade customers through this portal, and form the contract between your business and us. We may update them from time to time, so please check this page each time you order. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order.

These terms and every contract between us are in English, governed by the law of England and Wales, and subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

2. Trade accounts

  • The portal is for approved trade customers. By ordering, you confirm you are buying for business purposes and have authority to bind the business named on the account.
  • You are responsible for orders placed through your account. Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email address, so please keep access to that inbox secure.

3. Our products

Product images and packaging information are for illustration. Products you receive may vary slightly from the pictures. All products are subject to availability. If something you ordered is not available, we will tell you by phone or email, cancel that part of the order and refund any payment for it.

4. How the contract is formed

You can review and correct your basket before submitting an order. After you order, we send an email confirming that we have received it. This confirmation is not acceptance. Our acceptance takes place when we dispatch the products to you.

If we cannot supply a product, for example because it is out of stock or there is a pricing error, we will contact you, will not process that part of the order, and will refund any payment for it as soon as possible.

5. Prices and VAT

  • Prices on the portal are the trade prices for your account and are shown excluding VAT. VAT is added at checkout at the current UK rate.
  • Prices may change from time to time, but changes do not affect orders we have already accepted.
  • Delivery charges are not included in product prices. See our delivery information.
  • If the VAT rate changes between your order and delivery, we will adjust the VAT you pay unless you have already paid in full.

6. Mistakes in prices

Despite our best efforts, a product may occasionally be priced incorrectly. If we find an error in the price of something you have ordered, we will contact you and you can either continue at the correct price or cancel. We will not process the order until we hear from you. If we cannot reach you, we will treat the order as cancelled. Where a pricing error is obvious and could reasonably have been recognised, we do not have to supply the product at the incorrect price.

7. Payment

The payment methods available to your account are shown at checkout. Payment for products and delivery is taken in advance, unless your business has an approved credit account, in which case the payment terms agreed for that account apply.

8. Delivery and ownership

  • In-stock products ordered before the cut-off time are dispatched the same working day. If we cannot supply an item shown as in stock, we will let you know as soon as possible.
  • Delivery is complete when the products reach the address you gave us. From then on, the products are your responsibility.
  • You own the products once we have received payment in full, including delivery charges.
  • Some addresses or item sizes need an extra courier charge. If this applies, we will contact you before dispatch.
  • Some items are collection only. Please contact us about these products.

9. Returns

  • Please contact us first. Every return needs our written consent.
  • Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, in original, undamaged condition and packaging.
  • A 20% restocking fee applies to refunds. Late returns, or items returned damaged, may be refused.
  • If a part is returned as faulty and works when we test it, return postage is deducted from any refund.
  • Refunds are made to the original payment method.

Full details are on our returns & warranty page.

10. Warranty

Reconditioned parts carry a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. New parts carry the manufacturer warranty. If a part develops a fault within its warranty, we will repair or replace it.

11. Events outside our control

We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as industrial action, severe weather, fire, flood, epidemic, failure of telecommunications or IT networks, or transport disruption. If such an event affects your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and agree a new delivery date once it is over.

12. Gas safety

Only a Gas Safe registered engineer should fit, repair or service gas appliances and the parts we supply for them. You can check registration at gassaferegister.co.uk.
